Fake Credit Union Lottery SCAM

Emails have been sent to some credit union members from www.culottery.co.uk, claiming that they have won prizes in a national credit union lottery. Members replying to the emails are likely to be asked to provide bank details and risk identity fraud and theft if they respond to requests.

All members should be aware that Manchester Credit Union does not currently offer a member lottery, nor is there any national credit union lottery in existence. Please do not send personal or bank details to any third party claiming to have any involvement with Manchester Credit Union. We would never ask for this information over email.
